rideATAXIA Global Challenge!

FARA NZ is very pleased to share this amazing fundraising effort by Team NZ in the Global rideATAXIA Challenge.

Team NZ were kind enough to provide us with a quick reflection on the challenge which you can read below: -

Team NZ Ride Ataxia crossed the finish line as part of the GLOBAL Ride Ataxia Challenge which raised globally USD $458,863 for research and, ultimately, a cure.

What an epic challenge where we cycled, hiked, walk, swam, ran, or were just active to collect km to attribute to the goal of circumnavigating the globe in 4 weeks, raise awareness and funds for research. Team NZ Ride Ataxia raised NZD $18,700 and covered 13,477 km while being active.

This reflects the efforts of over 70 people who got behind this challenge. Their overriding feedback was the awareness of FA but also the admiration for the work and the drive towards a cure.
